What is the American ambition? The American reverie is the traditional neighborly ideals of the US, such as equality, democracy, and tangible prosperity. In the book The jungle  by Upton Sinclair, Sinclair portrays the American dream as freedom, respect, equality, because that is what one knows to be The American inspiration Â. When Sinclair immigrated to the united States, his main goal was to fall upon that American Dream  because from what he heard, America was everything hed ever valued but when reality hit, Sinclair determine that not every film is not exactly as scrupulous as it seems to be. Sinclair sustains to realize that this grand American Dream  isnt much more than a scarce gag.\nWhen you think of the American dream you think of great wealth and riches. When Jurgis bided in his scale country he met the passionateness of his disembodied spirit, a girl named Ona at a horse farm. provided unlikely, they didnt have enough cash to even afford a marr iage. Ona and Jurgis agnise that they needed that gold to be able to live a successful life and be able to affirm married so they firm to immigrate to America, Chicago to be precise. Jurgis was quickly able to corroborate a job and because he was a strong manhood he easily got a job working with the cattle. In the beginning, America was everything theyd ever imagined until Jurgis realized he was being cheated start of what he thought was the dream long hours, no pay, children scatty school, being cheated out of his money, and even his proclaim married woman Ona couldnt exact time off for her own wedding. More reasons for the two to conceptualize the American Dream is a fraud.\nJurgis then was told by his wife Ona that a man named Conner had pillaged her which sent Jurgis to rage and pose Conner just to earn 30 days in slammer which didnt help anything in their channel to happiness.
